MPR (Multi-Planar Reconstruction)

Re-slicing a volumetric series along orthogonal planes.

A volumetric series (CT, MR) is acquired as a stack of slices in one plane. MPR reconstructs the volume so you can view it along the axial, sagittal, and coronal planes from the same data — no re-scan required. dcmage’s MPR mode shows the three planes with a linked crosshair.
