Close session

Clear the workspace and return to the empty screen.

Ends the current session and returns to the empty landing screen. This is the one deliberate way to clear the workspace — Open and Import both keep or add to what is loaded; only Close discards it.

Safeguard

If the session holds unsaved work — pending tag edits, an undo history (including contour and structure edits), or key-image marks — closing first asks you to confirm. A session with nothing to lose closes immediately.

To remove a single study or series without ending the whole session, use the delete action in the Files tab instead.
