Auto head defacing

Propose redaction regions over the face and ears for CT/MR head scans.

Proposes adjustable redaction boxes over the face and ears on the active CT or MR head slice. It thresholds the foreground to estimate the head’s bounding box, then reads Patient Orientation metadata to locate the anterior direction and place a face box plus left and right ear boxes.

Tip Proposed regions appear in the redaction list like hand-drawn ones — review, adjust, and delete any false positives before exporting. On export the boxes are zeroed across every frame of the series. Caution This is a single-slice heuristic that proposes redaction boxes for you to confirm — not automated segmentation and not skull-stripping, and not a guaranteed defense against 3D facial reconstruction.
